BETRAYAL! Aquaman Commits Adultery Against Wife Mera! Allegedly Exposed Himself To Minors // Satire

Justice League founder and King of Atlantis Aquaman found himself in hot water this week, pun intended when his wife Queen Mera announced via Twitter that he had engaged in an affair with the fellow aquatic hero known as Dolphin.

The hero Dolphin is the Ex-Wife to the superhero Tempest, who made his debut to the superhero community as Aquaman's sidekick Aqualad. The divorce between Dolphin and Tempest was presented to the public as amicable, with both Aquaman and Mera remaining close personal friends with her. The fact that Aquaman has committed adultery with a family friend makes this particularly hard news for Queen Mera.

"My husband has broken my trust, violated our marriage, and shown the world he is not the hero we thought," explained the Ocean Queen. "His actions are not only immoral, but they are also illegal. Arthur used his clout and status as a hero to solicit nude photos from his fans, many of whom are underage."

Aquaman refused to acknowledge Mera's accusations and instead insisted that their relationship has been crumbling from stress for some time.

"It is with a heavy heart that I announce the separation between myself and my dear wife Mera," Aquaman said on his official social media pages. "I respect Mera, will always love her deeply, and hope our fans can give us our privacy at this time. But she's also a lying whore, and you shouldn't believe a word she says.”

Dolphin did not feel it appropriate to comment on the story herself but sent numerous kissing emojis to Aquaman's Twitter posts along with this tweet:

Many of the Justice League members have also stayed silent on the controversy, with the public exception of Green Lantern. Tweeting to Mera with his handle @HL-GL the space patrolman decried the Queen of Atlantis with this tweet:

The Atlantean Government has no comment at this time, but some outlets such as the Daily Planet have accused the Royal legal representation of silencing media outlets with legal action should they publish false speculation.
