PESTILENCE #2 REVIEW: SATAN AND FECES...
I don't know that i am capable of expressing how much I love this comic book! FRANK TIERI is penning a classic, and OLEG OKUNEV is drawing his ass off! There's a page in this book where it seems like every centimeter of space is covered with layer upon layer of zombie horde awesomeness! The story is deliberate and methodical. The pace smoothly switches from plodding to frantic to outright frenzied with maddening speed. The rate at which everything goes from "fine" to "NOT FUCKING FINE!!" is breakneck! Crusaders are fighting the Zombie Apocalypse!! What more do you need to know about this book!?
As for a grade PESTILENCE #2 gets an A+ for sure! is a true to form zombie horror....the odds are overwhelming, the hope is dire, and every moment is perilous. I can't get enough....this book is the first thing i pull from my read stack the week it drops.
