XO Manowar #11 Review
XO Manowar #15 is by Matt Kindt,Ryan Bodenheim and Andrew Dalhouse
Aric is trying, he really is, he’s just not fit to tyl a Planet. It seems he’s trying to work on everything by himself and can’t handle the load at all. So it’s hard not to understand why he was betrayed by his people, they want what’s best for the planet
But the bounty hunters that were called to capture Aric have arrived and outsmarted him in combat leaving him armorless, beaten, and without the loyalty of his people. Kindt writes some great interactions between the bounty hunters and Aric and really point out the difference between a warrior and a bounty hunter. But it looks like things can only go up from here with Arix finding a kindred soul in one of the bounty hunters.
XO has found a new art team in this issue with Ryan Bodenheim and Andrew Dalhouse which give this book a cleaner more traditional superhero look than previously. I really enjoyed the art and colors in this issue and hope this team stays on a while since we’ve had so many art change ups on this book. Overall I give this issue a solid B+
