Black Cloud #2 Review

Book Summary: Zelda has a knack for finding trouble, and as she slips away from the consequences of her actions in the Outside, new dangers find her in New York

The first issue of Black Cloud did not leave me hooked. It was a fascinating concept with art that guaranteed I would come back for issue 2, and now that I have gotten my hands on #2, I believe that was the whole point.

The trends of the first issue continue. There is no hand holding in this book. The story is not placed in front of you in plain text and character motivations and backstory are still a mystery. However, much more time is spent in the Dream Realm in this book and we begin to see the shroud pulled back on our main character's abilities which is very exciting.

Final Grade= A
I couldn't tell you where this story is going but with art this interesting and mystery woven this deeply, I am sure happy to be on-board for the ride.
